Awesome, so now we just have to re-arrange our plot list into some semblance of order, add anything missing and remove anything extraneous, and boom! We have a plot outline, organized into scenes.

Eddie & Venom unpacking heavy-duty stim toys while discussing their plan to go on a vacation and have some "them" time to figure things out Venom: mention that they have some time now foodwise, since they glutted while in cletus Eddie: verbally accept that he's going to have to compromise some on the foood thing. Venom: verbally accept that Eddie needs quiet time sometimes, and mention some options for what it could do/who it could bond with in the meantime (Or this could be like a list of options on a whiteboard in the bg.)

End--credits scene:

Spider-man sees Venom break Cletus out of prison on cameras, then Eddie escaping from the Church aftermath

Heads up: I'm probably going to stop with the outline, but if anyone wants to take it and make an actual fic, or a modified version of the movie script, or anything like that, be my guest! I'd love to see it, I just have too many wips already to actually get into the fic part. :)

Any other suggestions on things to change in this outline?

Regardless, I have at least one more post in this series: my initial re-write burst from right after I woke up, mentioned at the start of this all. I haven't looked at it since starting to write all this up, so we get to see what I've improved on or forgotten about since then.

Hopefully I will be finished @symbruary by May

shassie as a dynamic works so well imo because shawn is dialectically a genius and an idiot while lassie is dialectically badass and pathetic. thus, in the most ideal scenario, they're a scarily effective power duo of whip-smart deduction and ruthless tactical intimidation, but when you flip them to the other sides of their spectrums they become Two Losers Making Asses Of Themselves, both of whom constantly try to hoist themselves back to the other end by using the other as a counterweight.

I’m so tempted to write a shifter fic where Ghost is a big cat (I’m thinking black panther or something similar) shifter… but he doesn’t know it

He thinks that he’s not a shifter at all because he only shifts in his sleep and even when he’s startled awake, he shifts back in a split second, before his brain can even register not being human

It makes him a fantastic sniper, because he has better vision than a human, even if he doesn’t realize it. It gives him excellent hearing, but he doesn’t know that it’s better than everyone else’s (at least, not to a suspicious degree). His eyes flash in the dark, but he’s never seen it because he avoids mirrors like the plague. He thinks that his fast reflexes are just army trained instead of innate. He has a strong prey drive, but he reasons that it’s just his job as a CT operative; they hunt for a living. He genuinely does not know that he’s a shifter, and the rest of the 141 refuse to tell him (Price because having a big cat prowling around base would be worse than Ghost already is… Soap and Gaz because they have a three-year-long bet to see how long it’ll take him to figure it out)

Soap is some sort of dog shifter (because I’m basic like that) and Ghost makes fun of him all the time, both for being a shifter and for being a stereotype of his animal self. Gaz always dies laughing and Ghost can tell that Soap is holding back laughter too, but he can never figure out why…

I bet Eddie spent so many days just fighting exhaustion, his organs in a constant strain and his skin overheating because of how much he was over exerting his body with Venom. I bet he spent so many nights waking up covered in sweat because he didn't eat enough for all the energy being used. Didn't sleep enough for the both of them. Because Venom doesn't sleep, but Eddie does. And together they use twice as much of whatever Eddie's body needs to survive.

He spent a whole year like that just to wake up in the middle of the night to dead silence and cold sheets in the aftermath of realizing how much he didnt mind actually mind it before, praying with everything he is that he would hear that voice again clawing away at his senses for food.

And maybe there's something there, something that pulls from inside as Eddie tries to barter his own organs to the silence in the room just to return things to how they were.

A tiny pull, nothing severe. Just a little twitch. Eddie doesn't notice it over his racing heartbeat.

There's too much pain here now, and it's not strong enough to survive. Not strong enough to make itself known. Soon though. Soon Eddie won't have to be alone anymore.

The klyntar should be chill, only venom and carnage are supposed to be mean.

Venom was originally only supposed to be violent and malicious because of the trauma of being forcibly abandoned by its first host peter in its infancy and then bonded to someone with untreated depression who hated peter obsessively.

Carnage was bonded to a severely imbalanced, psychopathic serial killer, at birth. a klyntar imprints its personality from its earliest hosts. It is incapable of creativity it merely enhances the host.

There has since been a lot of retcon to make them more evil but i miss them being just like any other species, mostly just people. Remember when the species wasnt a synthetic living abyss necrosword created by the dark godthing "Knull The King In Black" in the void between the 6th an 7th dimension?

It was just a bunch of slimy little dudes who wanted a friend and in turn the friend's natural traits and impulses would be enhanced?

Your head rested on Eddie's chest as he leaned against the head board. You hadn't been feeling very good, a runny nose and a dizzy head, so Eddie decided to stay home.

Much to your distaste, that meant you were also stuck with Venom. It's not that you didn't like Venom, you could tolerate him on most days, today was not one of them.

"What's wrong? Is she dying? OH! When you die, can I eat you?" Venom cheered. Of course he'd still annoy you during your suffering.

"Eddie please put your parasite away for one day!" Your words made Venom grunt and turn to Eddie.

"She call me a parasite, Eddie." He bared his teeth. "I shouldn't be called a parasite."

"She doesn't feel good, how about you two just leave each other alone for the rest of the day." He looked to both of you, your eye brow furrowed as you glared at the Symbiote.

After spending a few hours in bed, you had drifted off to sleep. You woke up a few hours later in a coughing fit.

Reaching to your side to feel for Eddie, you realized he wasn't there. Letting out a groan, you turn to lay on your side, seeing a surprising sight in the door way.

An unconscious Eddie, with Venom poking out of his neck, holding a glass of water. You eyebrows furrowed as they walked to you.

Venom held the glass of water out to you, you looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "What did you do to it?"

"Nothing. You are important to Eddie, who is important to me. If i want to continue living, then I can't eat you."

"So if I wasn't dating Eddie, then you'd eat me?" That was comforting to know.

"No, i've grown fond of you too."
